Improvisations on Percussion and Electronics is exactly that. A two-sided spontaneous project recorded in a single afternoon, then dubbed and mixed down the following day.

This cassette is a meeting point between two friends sharing the same language and love of percussion and its electronic manipulations. The duo never played together before this point, the aim being to let the music form itself. In Pike and Engin Eskici’s words, the release is about shared language and trust, listening closely and responding through rhythm.

The instruments include drum kit, mini-synths, darbuka, bendir, and conga. The result is hypnotic and meditative, a release driven by pulse and texture.
